CBCT Scan
CBCT Scan
At Rahimkhani Dental Clinic, we are committed to providing our patients with the highest standard of dental care. To ensure the most accurate diagnoses and successful treatments, we have invested in Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT )technology—the gold standard in modern dental imaging.
What is a CBCT Scan?
>While traditional dental X-rays provide a flat, two-dimensional (2D) view of your mouth, a CBCT scan creates a highly detailed three-dimensional (3D) model. This advanced technology allows us to see your teeth, jawbone, nerve pathways, and surrounding tissues with unparalleled clarity from every possible angle.
Why We Use 3D Imaging
Standard X-rays are excellent for routine checkups, but complex procedures require a deeper look.
We use CBCT for:
- Precision Implant Planning: We can evaluate your exact bone density and locate vital nerves to ensure safe and accurate implant placement.
- Safer Oral Surgery: For impacted wisdom teeth or complex extractions, a 3D view shows us the exact position of the tooth in relation to the jaw and nerves.
- Enhanced Endodontics: We can identify hidden root canals or fractures that might be missed on a 2D scan.

Innovative Technology
Dentistry is constantly evolving. and we make it our mission to remain at the forefront. Using innovative techniques and the most updated technology allows us to treat you with profound precision. Our office utilizes digital X-rays to provide us with the most enhanced images of your jawbone and teeth. We also incorporate intraoral cameras into your visit so you can follow along with your care and know exactly what is happening at all times.
Sedation Options
Dental anxiety affects patients of all ages in a variety of ways. To combat this, we offer sedation for children and adults alike. Nitrous oxide, otherwise known as laughing gas, is a form of sedation that is released through a small mask that sits on your nose throughout your visit. This helps keep a patient to calm and relaxed throughout treatment.
Family Dentistry
Family Dentistry
Family dentistry addresses oral health at every stage of life. Children have very different dental needs than adults, and qualified family dentists deliver comprehensive oral care from baby teeth to permanent teeth.
Like general dentistry, family dentistry is concerned with oral hygiene and the health of your teeth. However, family dentists focus on the unique needs of children of all ages. Just a few of the services offered by our family dentists are:
- Regular cleanings
- Fluoride treatments
- Cavity identification, filling, specialized crowns, and root canals on "baby" teeth.
- Interceptive Orthodontics and/or proper and timely referrals to an Orthodontist
Not only do family dentists understand how children’s teeth change with age, but they also recognize that children may fear going to the dentist. Our family dentists have a gentle approach so that children will develop positive associations with regular dental checkups and build good oral hygiene habits for life.

Dental Implants
Dental Implants
Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. The implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jaw bone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, dental implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing.

Same Day Crowns
Same-day Crowns
A dental crown is used to, “Cap,” or cover a tooth that has been damaged. A dental crown strengthens damaged teeth and is used to improve the alignment, shape, and/or appearance of the tooth. With CEREC® Same-day crowns, Dr. Rahimkhani can design, create, and fit your new crown in one visit.

What is CEREC®?
What takes 2-3 visits at older dental practices takes a single visit here. We’ve invested in technologies that give you better results for the exact same price! – so you spend less time in the chair, taking time of work, and driving to and from the dentist.
With CEREC® Same-day crowns, Dr. Rahimkhani can design, create, and fit your new crown in one visit. First, he shapes the tooth to fit the crown. Then, he makes a digital impression and uses the CEREC® 3D software to design the tooth. This data is then transferred to our in-house milling machine where your new, custom crown is created. Dr. Rahimkhani will ensure the crown fits correctly and then cements the permanent crown onto the tooth.
